The company
The portal that turns your idols' moments into NFTs
Unic Legacy is the platform where celebrities from all over the world launch their NFT collections. Its big debut was Andrés Iniesta's collection of over 6,000 NFTs, backed by heavy investment in campaigns and in the footballer's own image to make the launch a success.
The challenge
The starting point
All the campaigns were already scheduled for a fixed date, but development had fallen behind and they called me in at the last minute. I had less than a week to finish what was left, which was no small thing, above all the user dashboard and the payment gateway integration.
With so much invested in the celebrities and the ads, there was no room for error. The site had to load fast, look perfect on mobile and, above all, hold up under the traffic spike that Iniesta's own reach would bring.
The solution
How I solved it
I prioritized what actually moved the needle. Against the clock I built the user dashboard and the Coinbase payment integration, and got NFT minting and deployment ready so users would see their NFTs instantly in their account.
I built the frontend with React and Next.js, with TailwindCSS and Docker deployments to avoid surprises. On top of that, I optimized the animations and heavy assets to cut latency, polished the mobile experience down to the detail, and set up scroll-anchored section navigation with multi-language support to guide the user all the way to purchase.
