Alberto Fuentes is a JavaScript web developer (Vue 2 and 3, Nuxt 2 and 3) with over 10 years building web experiences for brands, agencies and independent teams, with projects for MotoGP, Tous or Plusholidays.
The challenge
The starting point
Alberto came with a flawless design already finalized in Figma, with every animation defined in detail. The challenge wasn't to design, but to build it pixel-perfect and make every animation behave exactly like in Figma.
It also had to load blazingly fast, look impeccable on mobile, be available in several languages and have solid SEO so his portfolio would work for him.
The solution
How I solved it
I built the Figma design with Astro, TailwindCSS and TypeScript, caring for every spacing, typeface and transition until it was pixel-perfect and with animations identical to the designer's.
I optimized images, fonts and loading for a blazing-fast, mobile-optimized site, with technical SEO and multi-language support. The result clearly presents who Alberto is and his work for MotoGP, Tous or Plusholidays.
