Certificate procedures site with guided forms
Trámites Registro Civil is a niche website that helps citizens obtain official certificates (birth, marriage and more), collecting the request end to end so the team can later process it on the official government portals.
The challenge
The starting point
They started from a site with an old, outdated design and wanted to modernize it into a simple landing. But the real challenge was the certificate procedure: birth and marriage certificates are complex, with many fields, and showing them all at once overwhelmed users and caused drop-offs.
They also wanted to add new certificates in the future, review the incoming requests to process them, and charge for the service online.
The solution
How I solved it
I built the design with modern technologies (Nuxt and Vue), with a clean interface and fast loading. I designed the procedure as a multi-step form that only shows what's needed at each moment, with dynamic fields that appear based on the answers so as not to overwhelm the user.
I built it as a reusable form system, ready to add new certificates and fields without rebuilding anything. I added a back office to review the incoming requests in PostgreSQL and process them on the official portals, plus a Stripe integration for payment at the end of the flow.
